My sister, husband and I were lucky enough to meet MikeWolfe from the History Channel's American Pickers on Saturday! The local Goodwill was hosting a meet and greet, so the 3 of us decided to go. Mike was very nice. He signed autographs and posed for pictures. I also found some great things. I purchased an adorable Woodstock which is now living in my craft room and I also purchased some vintage doilies and 100 yards of vintage lace, all for a few bucks! Have a great week everyone!

Hello there! I just wanted to share some of my creations for 2 swaps I just participated in. The first swap was Karla Nathan's Birdsong Tag Book Swap. Participants had to create 7 bird tags for this swap. Go here to check out everyone else's beautiful tags! Creating anything that involves birds and nature is right up my alley! The 2nd swap was with Wanda Buxton. We both love Marie Antoinette, so we both decided to do a book swap. I had so much fun creating this book! Lots of flowers and ribbons oh my!

I've always loved Black Eyed Susan and Coneflowers. I planted all of these last year and they're all coming up like gangbusters! I know that these are full sun perennials, but the ones I planted in my backyard in the full sun are slow to grow. I planted these beauties in the front in partial sun and they've done so well. I'm hooking up to Susan's blog A Southern Dreamer for Outdoor Wednesday. Go check out all of the other participants and their beautiful pictures!

Good evening everyone! I participated in a really fun altered spoon swap that was hosted by Tee at The Altered Paper. My partner was Tiffany, the super talented Cranky Queen! She sent me this beautiful French inspired creation that is perfect for my kitchen!
The Queen also sent me this super cute creation that is also perfect for my kitchen!
This is what I created for Tiffany. I hope she likes it! It was a lot of fun being Tiffany's swap partner. I hope we could swap more in the future!
