Christmas Trees

Hello!  I hope everyone is having a nice weekend!  I just wanted to share the 3 trees I created with ribbon, lace, garland, beads, etc.  They were fun to make, but very time consuming and messy!  What kind of Christmas crafts are you working on?

Creating Christmas

Hi!  As much as I hate to see Halloween come and go, it's time to start Christmas crafting!  I purchased this a set of old candle sconces at a garage sale ages ago and I finally did something with them!  I painted them both a vintage rose and cream and added bottle brush trees, a snowman, lamb, mica flakes, felt snowflakes, tinsel and some bling.  These are available to purchase in my Etsy store.  Thank for taking a peek!

Arts and Crafts Challenge

Happy Sunday everyone!  About a month ago I agreed to participate in a arts and crafts challenge hosted by the lovely and talented Ele (A Bit of Pink Heaven).  The theme was Greece and the supplies were donated by the generous and talented Eleni.  Thanks Eleni!  I originally started a mini album about Greece, but I was not happy with the first few pages, so I gave up on that and started a wall hanging with Greek Goddesses as the subject.  I incorporated some of my own stuff with the supplies that Eleni and Ele sent.  Thank you so much for taking a peek and be sure to visit Eleni's etsy shop!

Altered Cabinet Card

Hello all!  Does anyone else have a hoarding problem when it comes to cabinet cards like I do?  I've been wanting to join an altered cabinet card swap after seeing Kimberly's cabinet card creations, so I signed up for the Halloween Cabinet Card and Pocket Swap at Glitter Tart Designs.  It was so much fun!  My partner was Hope .  I hope she likes what I created for her!

Halloween Bottles

Hi!  I have a love affair with altering bottles.  They are so much fun to make!  One of my favorite parts of the whole altered bottle process is picking out what I'm going to decorate the top with.  When I saw these styrofoam pumpkins at Michael's, I knew I was going to use them for decorating the top of a bottle.  Thanks for looking and have a great week!

Hi everyone!  Here are some photos of a few swaps I participated in.  I also took part in something really cool called "The Altered Brush Project" at Donna Downey Studios which was a lot of fun.  I did a altered fan swap with Marie.  She made me the most beautiful black fan for Halloween.  It will go perfectly with my Halloween decor!  I also did an altered pocket swap that the wonderful  Tee hosted.  My swap partner was Carol (no blog).  She made the cutest pocket for Halloween!  Thanks for looking and have a wonderful week everyone!
