Much to Share Part 3

Good morning all!  A lot going on right now, so not much time to create a blog post.  Here are some things that I've created in the last few weeks.  With work, birthdays, yard work, etc. winding down a little bit, I'm so hoping to catch up with weekly blogging schedule!

I love decorating and making stuff for July 4th.  I don't know why, but it's fun and I love the colors and the fun, vintage ephemera to play with!  Below is a wall hanging that was created using a plain ole' wood frame from Michael's, vintage sheet music and postcard, paint, stencils, large bow, glittery stars and vintage seam binding.

Below is a collage I created for week 2 of Summer of Color 2015.  The colors for week 2 were pink + pink + orange.  Pink and orange remind me of the beach, so I created a beach collage.

Week 3 colors of Summer of Color 2015 were purple + purple + yellow.  I have a couple of awesome French fashion magazines from the early 20th century, so I decided to incorporate an old French ad with the purple and yellow colors.  I love how this turned out!

Below is a tag from Tag Tuesday.  This is a few weeks old.  The theme was "Out of Our Comfort Zone."  I really don't do a lot of stamping and water color pencil stuff, but of course I have the supplies!  So I decided to stamp and water color.  I had a little bit of fun!

Another Tag Tuesday creation.  Last week's theme was "On the Ocean Wave."  I kind of messed up with the theme.  For whatever reason I thought it was more of a beach theme.  Oh well, my mistake......Before I created this tag, I should have went back and read the prompt again.

Below is another ICAD (Index Card A Day).  The index cards are a lot of fun to make.  I'm not making them everyday, just when the time strikes.

Much To Share (Again!)

Hi everyone!  I have much to share again!  Thanks for coming back to take a peek at my creations.  Have a wonderful week my friends!

Below is week #1 of Summer of Color 2015.  The color combos for this week is blue + blue + green.  I created a beachy, summer-like collage.

Below is a two weeks of Tag Tuesday.  The first theme was "Fruit" and the 2nd was "Arrows."

Next is a few index cards I created for the Daisy Yellow 2015 ICAD Challenge.

A few cards...

Much To Share

Hi all!  I should be watching the Blackhawk's game, but I can hear the hubby from up in my craft room, so it sounds like they just scored two goals within a matter of minutes.  Anyway, I just wanted to share some swaps and challenges I've participated in (picture heavy).  Thanks for taking the time to come over and say hi and to leave your nice comments!

Lunagirl Moonbeams Challenge: Black and White.  I used an image from a Lunagirl collage sheet called Civil War Ladies and Gents.  I wanted this mixed media collage to look like someone found this long lost piece of art in their attic.  I pulled out the silver leaf and gelatos, which were both very fun to play with.  I placed the photo on a decorative wood frame from Michael's and painted it silver and then added washi tape, scrapbook paper and embellishments.

From left to right are the atc's I received from SherrySylvia and Jane Palmer

Two weeks of Tag Tuesday.

Down On the Farm

Pocket Letter Swap hosted by Corinne.  The theme was to make a pocket letter however you liked.  Below is what I created for my swap partner Tamie.  I used the Forever Green collection my Prima.  I absolutely love this line!

Below is what Tamie created for me.  Isn't it beautiful?  I love the colors, quotes and the girl in the middle!

Is anyone participating in the Daisy Yellow 2015 ICAD challenge?  The idea is to create an index card a day from June 1st to July 31st.  The idea is to create a little something everyday to get those creative juices flowing.  You can follow prompts or do your own thing.  My inspiration is Tina Jensen.  She has made the most beautiful index cards. Please go to her blog and take a peek.  Below is my first card.  I titled this card "She Loved Nature."  I'm going with an outdoor, nature theme.  I'm not sure if I'll have time to make one everyday, but I'm going to make as many as I can!
