More Challenges And A Swap

Good morning!  I swear, summer is just flying by........It's getting to be that time to start creating for Halloween!  Yikes!  Anyway, here is my weekly challenge and sometimes swap post.

Last week's Summer of Color 2015 "colors" were red, red + metallic.  For some reason I thought of Scarlett O'Hara and her opulent home after she marries Rhett Butler.  Below is what I came up.  I Don't know why Scarlett's face has a smudge of aqua on it.  Our cameras do funky things some times!

The Tag Tuesday theme from last week was "faces."  The woman on this tag certainly has a stunning face doesn't she?

The Tag Tuesday theme for this week is "friendship."  I just love the cute photo of the two little girls and the quote is so true!

I'm continuing my nature theme with my index cards for Daisy Yellow Art Index Card A Day 2015.  These index cards are so much fun to make and if you're in a creative funk right now, go check out the link and create some index cards!  There are prompts you can follow, but I'm kind of doing my own thing.

Once you create one pocket letter, you'll want to create more!  This is a great way to use your stash!  Altered Pages hosted a Facebook pocket page swap and the theme was anything.  I chose a beach theme and below is what I created for my partner.

My partner, Lyneen James created this really cool African safari page for me.  I love all of the little elements and since I'm a BIG animal lover, it was right up my alley!  :)  If your interested in the whole pocket letter craze and would like more information you can go here.
